About VoteMeter

A simple way to measure political sentiment

VoteMeter is a private beta product that lets people register a quick support or oppose view on public political leaders and see the aggregate update live.

What it is

A live approval board, not a formal poll

VoteMeter is designed to show directional public sentiment in a lightweight, always-on format. It is best read as a live signal from people choosing to participate, not as a scientifically sampled survey.

Every profile rolls up counted support and oppose votes into a single approval view so people can compare leaders in one place.

How it works

Fast voting with anonymous participation

On each politician profile, a voter chooses either support or oppose. A counted vote updates the approval snapshot, total vote count, and recent trend after it is accepted by our anti-abuse checks.

The beta is built for low-friction participation, so voting does not require creating an account.

What to expect

Concise, transparent beta rules

We keep the trust layer intentionally plain-language. The key questions for this beta are simple: what a vote means, how approval is calculated, how weekly movement is labeled, and what limits protect the board from spam.
